NICK FERRINGTON

Nick Ferrington’s DJ journey began in 2005 when he stepped behind the decks as a favor to a friend on their wedding day—sparking a passion that would shape his life and career.

 

By summer 2010, he officially dove into the wedding world in Missoula before moving to Boston to pursue a career in professional sports operations. While working for the Boston Celtics and the Boston Red Sox, Nick continued refining his craft—performing nearly 300 weddings, private parties, and corporate events for a premier luxury DJ company through 2019.

His client list included household names such as NBA Basketball, Brooks Brothers, Trader Joe’s Corporate, Uber, and even cast members from Broadway’s hit show “Hamilton.” These experiences sharpened his ability to deliver premium, high-energy entertainment with unmatched professionalism and polish.

In 2020, Nick returned home to Whitefish, Montana to launch Big Mountain DJs, bringing his large-market expertise, big-show production style, and hospitality-driven approach to Montana weddings and private events. Since then, Big Mountain DJs has become a go-to for couples seeking high-quality, modern, stress-free entertainment.

Beyond weddings, Nick is an established electronic music artist who has performed at major festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), The Vans Warped Tour, and Miami Music Week, and he has opened for world-renowned artists such as NERO, Borgore, Snails, Riot Ten, Chali 2Na, Lil Jon, and more.

When he isn’t behind the decks, Nick is producing his own music and curating unforgettable experiences—most notably as the founder of Area 406 Music & Arts Festival, Montana’s largest EDM festival.
