Wedding DJ

ABOUT US

Big Mountain DJs began in 2005 when company owner Nick Ferrington DJ'd his very first wedding using home stereo equipment. After discovering his passion for the industry, Nick would continue to be a highly-rated event DJ throughout his college years in Missoula before packing up and moving to the east coast city of Boston. (He hoped to land a job with one of their legacy sports franchises.)

After deciding to leave a pro sports career behind him, Nick signed a full-time contract with Boston/New York-based DJ agency Beat Train Productions where he would perform at an average of 50 events per year for nearly a decade. These events included high-profile weddings and corporate functions for companies including:

- NBA Basketball
- Guinness Brewing

- Uber Inc.

- Samsung
- SalesForce
- Whiskey Pig Distillery
- Trader Joe's Corporate Office
- Brooks Brothers

In addition to private functions, Nick also landed major bookings at festivals & events including:

- Vans Warped Tour
- Purgatory 2015 w/ Lil Jon
- Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas)
- Miami Music Week
- Bootie Mash-Up International

In 2020, Nick moved home to Whitefish, MT and opened up Big Mountain DJs to offer the same 5-star service he had developed over the last 10 years.

In addition, Big Mountain DJs also offers DJ Tim Ahler who is a former member of the Beat Train Productions roster. Tim has the same extensive training and outstanding work ethic that will make your event unforgettable!
